Textbook rental is simple! Now at The Campus Bookstore, you can rent a range of textbooks, and then you return them at the end of the Rental Agreement by the Due Date.
Yes, many titles are available in digital format from our online affiliates. You will see them listed along with other versions of the book, when available.
Our website now has a new feature - it's called comparison shopping. After you create a course list you will see prices for your books from the SAC Don Bookstore as well as other online retailers. If you purchase from another retailer, you will be directed to that retailer's website to complete your transaction.
Yes - choose "In-Store Pickup Next Business Day" as your shipping method. There is no charge for this service, and you can pick up the books without having to stand in line. After you receive your "Processing Completed" email from us, bring your order number and a photo ID to the bookstore
For Fall 2016, Book can be returned for any reason through Saturday August 27th as long as they are in their original
condition: unopened, access codes unused, etc… You must have a receipt. Refunds are processed in the original form
of payment.
Due to space limitations, we only carry new copies of required texts for current courses. If you wish to purchase used textbooks you can search online or check the RRU Classified section of MyRRU.
To ensure you are getting the correct edition, make sure to match ISBNs from your textbook notice
Absolutely! Unfortunately, this website cannot generate international shipping quotes. If you'd like to have your books shipped outside of Canada, please email us with your address, a contact phone number, and a list of the books you need.
Shipping charges are per order. It is the same price to have one book shipped or several as long as they are shipped in the same package.
We ship the same business day as receiving a completed order. If we are missing information, we may need to follow up with you directly which could cause delays.
Yes - choose "FedEx Home Delivery" during the checkout process. Shipping costs $10.00 for the first item, and $2.00 for each additional item. Shipping takes about 3-7 business days. We are not able to send Fedex tracking numbers, but you can log into your account on our website to check your order status.
Within the first two weeks of classes if you would like to purchase a book that you rented, we will apply the rental
price towards the purchase of the book. At the end of the semester, you will be given the option to buy out your rental.
The price varies by supply and demand for the book and can be more or less than the difference between renting it.
If you do not pick up your web order by the semester's refund deadline, your books will be returned to the shelf, and you will be refunded minus a restocking fee.
The Hawk Bookstore sells new and used textbooks at a price designed to cover the costs of operating the bookstore and meeting all other required financial obligations. This price includes all expenses associated with bookstore operations and personnel. We are 100% nonprofit.
All textbooks must be accompanied by a student ID and a web order invoice/packing slip from the Don Bookstore. Refunds are given only at the campus where you bought your books. A restocking fee may apply. Please note: Banks may take 14-30 days to post debit/credit card refunds to your account.
You will be charged the full price of the textbook minus the books rental fee plus the 5% processing fee for any book not returned to the bookstore, regardless of the reason.
The ReadHat Bookstore is NOT responsible for reminding or notifying you of the Rental Return Due Date for any rented books. It is your responsibility to return the book by the due date listed on your Rental Agreement and within your Rental letter. Please remember that rental books are due back – or must be postmarked by – the date listed on your Rental Agreement.
